I feel like I am driving in the fast lane but not getting to where I want to go....do you ever feel this way? We are heading to Washington DC for 4 days and we are driving a Volt. This is our current family car until February. My husband works in the renewable energy area at GM and we are lucky enough to have this cool car to drive. It operates on electricity for 40 miles and then runs on gasoline. I am impressed with this car and proud of GM.
On the way to DC we will be stopping in Pittsburgh to stay with some dear friends of ours.
Here is my daughter Alexandra and my friends children Cassandra and Alexandra...my daughter is in the aqua..this was 2 years ago.
The girls will be getting these charming tiles I just made....
We when arrive in DC I will be hand delivering a wholesale order to the boutique "Rooms With A View" in beautiful Georgetown. The owner sells my coasters and loves the French themed coaster sets of mine....
It will be nice to be in Washington DC and introduce this historic town to Alexandra. We even have a tour of the White House planned.....can't wait ! I am looking forward to a little bit of down time and relaxation in the next few days.....time to get out of the fast lane and into the slow but steady lane.

Well, You aren't kidding Life in the fast lane. I hate that circle in DC I went around it 3 times those are not polite people there, no one gives an inch. It's a great
city for the Children to visit. Neet car and tiles.
